Sometimes it is best to use a mix!

Lori, from “Everyones.got.something” makes Challah regularly and she recommended that I try Blends by Orly. It did not disappoint and was very easy to make.

Here are my tips:

The dough is sticky, but using extra GF flour was helpful and did not make the final bread tough.

In combination with the extra GF flour, I used my bench scraper to help form the dough into ropes and to smooth the surface.

Be mindful of the proofing process. If the dough overproofs, then the braid will break and the dough will fall.

There is enough dough for two braided loaves, 10 rolls, or one loaf and five rolls.

Also, this would make amazing French toast.

If you can’t tolerate oats, Blends by Orly does sell oat free flour blends, just head to their website for more information.

Enjoy!

Happy Baking
